There is no reason for kids to avoid KN95 masks.
If your child is unvaccinated, immunocompromised, or at a higher risk for COVID-19, we recommend your kids wear kids size KN95 masks for extra protection.
When it comes to kids KN95 masks, making sure the face-covering fits properly is essential. If the mask doesn't fit, your kids are at higher risk of wearing a big size mask or wearing it incorrectly.
3. What are the differences between the KN95 face masks for kids and disposable face masks for kids?
Disposable face masks for kids do not require fit testing.
KN95 face masks for kids are tight-fitting respirators that filter out at least 95% of particles in the air, including large and small particles, and require fit testing.
